The lives we live can be entangled with the problem-saturated stories we tell ourselves. You are the expert in your life and have the story that holds that truth. Together we can work to re-story your life so you can have the preferred story you want for your life. I also offer EMDR to help your brain heal so that the present trauma will fade into the background, allowing you to re-build your preferred future. I have clinical experience working with diagnoses such as dissociative identity disorder, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, sexual trauma/issues, trauma, panic disorders, and various mood disorders.

Howdy! My name is Ryan Lloyd and I am a dually licensed Marriage & Family Therapist & Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor working in North Texas. One of the mantras I live by is "we can't do better if we don't know better." I say this as I involve contemporary psychoeducation into my work with clients and view therapy as a learning experience. I heavily value honesty in the therapeutic relationship and don't shy away from challenging clients to foster growth within themselves and their relationships. It's incredibly important to me to collaborate with my clients and I welcome you to explore growth, learning, and healing with me.

Amy Battles
Hi! My name is Amy Battles, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Associate, supervised by Dr. Misti Sparks, Ph.D., LMFT-S. I earned my BS in Psychology in 2020 and my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023, both from Texas Wesleyan University.
This is my second career, both of which have focused on working with people. As a single mother working in corrections, I witnessed life's toughest challenges and learned that even the direst circumstances don't define a person's outcome. Freedom and growth often come despite confinement. Now, I aim to use my life lessons, experiences, and training to support you in finding the freedom and growth you seek as an individual, couple, or family.
I have clinical experience with PTSD, anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol addictions, family conflicts, panic disorders, and working with youth. You have a preferred future that may yet be untold, and there is hope and healing in defining your true self.
In my personal life, I am a grandmother of four wonderful children and a proud mother-in-law. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.

The power of partnership can be transformative, and you don’t have to face things on your own. Let me be your ally on the path to mental well-being and healthier relationships.
